AFTER SCHOOL ART CLUB WITH ALEX MYERS

The After School Art Club is for 4-8 year olds. It’s a space for kids to have fun and develop confidence in their own creativity and ideas.

Alex set up the After School Art Club to give children space in their busy schedule to slow down, make some art, have fun and generally develop confidence in their own creativity and ideas. She loves teaching children and firmly believes that being creative from an early age can give a child real self-confidence and an original outlook in life. Art and design surround us in the city and children love to engage with it.

A degree in Graphic Design and Illustration at the prestigious Central St Martins School of Art in London gave Alex the springboard to work in many different areas of the media and art world. She kicked off her career as part of the exhibitions team at The Saatchi Gallery then focused on picture research and picture editing, specializing in fashion, art and architecture.
